Pastor Andrew Isabirye

Pastor Andrew Isabirye is from Jinja, Uganda (East Africa). He was born in 1969, and is the first born out of seven children – two boys and five girls. While growing up Pastor Andrew did a lot of child labor because of his stepfather. But by Gods grace, he went to school and later trained and qualified as a primary school teacher. He married Betty Kampi in 1997 and they are blessed with two sons Joshua and Josiah. Currently they are missionaries to Lesotho a kingdom in the country of South Africa. They have lived there since November 1997.

Pastor Andrew was raised up in a protestant Church (Anglican) in Uganda. The grace of God was extended to him in 1990 when he was born again. He had heard the gospel many times, attended some churches, but he was mocking, playing and fooling around but this time the Holy Ghost visited him in a room alone and he began to confess these words. “What I have seen, I have seen. I have served the devil for a long time but I am going to serve God the rest of my life and from this day I am born again.”

As he grew in the Lord, he knew the Holy Spirit had visited him for he had confessed words he had never confessed before.

Meet Pastor AndrewThe Holy Spirit taught him three basic principles, which are prayer, fasting and reading of the word. These made him grow fast in the Lord. At this point in time he had finished High School and was going to college to train as a teacher. While at college he led the Born Again Christian Fellowship organization. It is important to note that when he got born again in Jinja, he joined a Pentecostal church called Miracle Center, which had many branches in Uganda under the leadership of Evangelist Robert Kayanja with its headquarters in Kampala Uganda. So whichever place he went to stay or study in he joined a Miracle Center church in that place.

When he had completed college as a teacher, he sought the Lord in prayer and fasting, and the Lord called him to ministry in 1992. God spoke to him in a clear and audible voice while he was sleeping; “TOTAL DELIVERANCE HAS COME, BUT BRING BACK MY PEOPLE” He woke up and wrote it down in a book. In the same year he went to a place called Mbiko to pursue his career as a primary school teacher. While in this school he became a member of Miracle Center Church and he continued to grow. He began serving the Lord as a part time minister going out to preach witness door to door, in crusades and seminars.

Later in February 1994, he was called to full time ministry so he resigned as a teacher and was ordained as an associate pastor. In the same year the Lord spoke to him that He would take him to another place from the church he was. It was not until November 1997 that the Lord took him to Lesotho through his senior pastor who had began a church there. They served together and in 1999 the Lord led him to begin a church, which is called Back to the Foundation Church.
